Basketball 

Everyday me and my friends go to basketball practice at lunch time for our after school tournament. Our tournament starts today at Tamaki College.

We practice everyday with our coach Lorenzo. He encourages us to play fairly and to play with good sportsmanship.He works at the after school youth programme. I am looking forward to wining and playing together as a team.

I look forward  to playing basketball this term and playing with my peers.

Today we are going to be looking at school values. my school has five values so we have a good learning environment.Our school values are ako witch means teaching and learning another one is manakitanga witch means caring for others.The next one is whanogatanga witch means billding positive relationship with others another one of the values is tokumare

witch means peace.Lots of schools have values because they are like rules of the school but some schools have different values like my old school had the same but one of them was teinopairawa witch was do your best     

How people effected by natural disasters 

 Today we are learning about how people are affected by natural disasters. Lots people are affected by natural disasters her are some way people can get affected by natural disasters.peoples houses can break and shatter to pices and people can lose famaliy members and friends.And peoples power can get cut because power lines get broken down.Also people get stuck underneath buildings and die.The thing i learnt today was how people are effected by natural disasrers. leave a comment below what i need to work on.           

Maths games

Maths games

Today we played maths games with cards my group was doing a adding game with playing cards we had to share the cards out evenly.We had to grab our cards and we would would all put down at the same time there would be three cards on the table and we would multiply the cards by what ever numbers are on the card we multiply it then we swapped the games around the table the next game we got was a factions game it was easy because it was just pitchers and numbers we had to say witch faction you had and the card had a faction on it who ever had the next puts it do.That was my maths block for today it was fun.

Today I did a maths test on my net book which is the first time I have done a test on a net book it was hard because I am comfortable with a pen or a pencil. It was hard for me because I need to practice more of my maths at home and at school.

 I need to practise  my divided by and decimals. I also need to work on my maths. I need to think about the questions and answers before I write it down. I hope you enjoyed this blog  

Technology 

This week at technology we had to look at phone stand and write the different and the similarity.When that was done we looked at more phone stands that were in slides and write about what we noticed and saw.There are lots of different kinds of phone stands hope you enjoyed.   

A-Z vocabulary reflection

REFLECTION 

Today we done a activatiy that is a A-Z camp vocabulary we had the alphabet down a page and we had to put words related to camp next to the letters.It was hard to find words that start with the letter x and y but the easy ones were a because I used words ab sailing and for b i used b basketball my favourite one to do was c because I got heps of words starting with c.I liked this activity because it made me think the letter i found changeling was x because there was no words with x i hope you enjoyed.
